BICYCLE POWERED BY PIGNOSE HOG-20

During the summer of 1995, New York City-based bicycle successfully biked across the USA and became the world's first pedal touring rock band. In the fall of 1995, they biked from Portland, ME to Mount Pleasant, NC promoting their EP "souvenir", a CD recorded at Paisley Park Studios in Minneapolis, MN during their summer tour.

On these two tours, bicycle effectively offered an alternative to traditional rock touring, which inspired enthusiasm both at shows and on the road. By the time they hung up their biking shoes and returned to New York City to write more songs and wait out the winter, they'd established a unique reputation within the music world as an act that is as exciting on the road as it is on the stage.

In an effort to outdo themselves, this spring bicycle has launched its most ambitious project to date by biking from New York City to Portland, ME trailing all of their instruments, including battery powered portable HOG-20 amps from Pignose Industries. Pictured with part of their Pignose HOG-20 arsenal are bicycle members guitarist Brian Chenault, drummer Forrest Kemper, and lead singer/bassist Kurt Hans Noel Liebert.
